Most engineering teams
For day-to-day backend or web work: Standard tier (3–4 vCPU, 5–8 GB RAM) is plenty. For monorepos, big TypeScript builds, or local Postgres + Redis + Docker on the same box: Performance (5–8 vCPU, 9–16 GB) or Power (9–16 vCPU, 17–32 GB).
